    AANF has the right to make changes or additions to this policy at any time. If those changes involve using your personally identifiable information in a manner different from the policies stated when you joined, you will be notified by e-mail. Changes that do not affect use of personally identifiable information will be posted to the site by AANF.

    Contact Information

    AANF collects and uses various information that includes: amount donated, address, telephone number,  comments and e-mail address. Tax laws in the United States and the State of California require AANF to keep contact information and contribution on file.

    AANF will never sell, trade, rent or share names (unless released for publication), e-mail or mail addresses, or telephone numbers of our contributors.  AANF will use contact information (e-mail, telephone number and address) of donors for these purposes only:

    • Distribute receipts for contributors
    • Thanking your for your donation
    • Inform you about upcoming fundraising and other activities of AANF
    • Internal analysis and record keeping
    • Reporting to relevant U.S. and State agencies (these reports are not for public inspection)
    • Contact donors about changes to this policy

     Properly anonymized donor information is used for promotional and fundraising activities. AANF  allows contributors the option to have their name publicly associated with their donation unless  they explicitly chooses to remain “anonymous”.

    Financial Information

    All access to your information is strictly limited to professional staff of the Federation whose job requires them to process this data. No such data is given to any person, organization or group who does not need to access those data. When information is completed and proceed after it is no longer needed we either shreded or removed from our data. 

    To accept payment for conventions and/or contributions via credit card, AANF uses accredited online payment processing services with world-class security, Bank of America and data privacy policies. If you would like to make another reservation for the purpose of processing recurring, AANF does not store, nor does it have access to, your credit card information, bank account numbers, or other account data sent to those processing services.
